These days I attended with our Club of the AK TOMBO, taking the stage at the master Toshio Mori Momiji Kan Dojo of Rome (Ostia Antica).
Master Mori is the current maintainer of Heki Ryu SUVA HA Professor of Kyudo at laTsukuba University in Japan, as well as responsible for training all the instructors of the School Heki.
A person really humble and really friendly who accompanied us during these three days of intense practice and intense shots, despite the horrific news coming from Japan. Excellent
the company of friends in the dojo of Ostia with whom we have worked hard together to make progress in our common passion represented by Kyudo.
I was very impressed, their responsibility for the construction of materials, from the arch to the arrows, their composure and professionalism in the practice with friends .......... it was really a pleasure, and despite heavy rain and the cold wow today, we had a great time.
I had the opportunity to study the arrows of war made by the Master Genzini, and listen with a certain cultural greed, his experiences on building materials ...... starting with the strings, up to the tips of arrows and quiver on the construction of their location (Ebira), who else is not to learn, and I want to learn.
an interesting explanation of how to build arches Gavino, pity my poor skill to grab at full speed all the explanations, but I have entrusted my bow shattered in the hope that I can fix it as best as possible ...... thanks Gavin.
My satisfaction was to see the Master Genzini an arch, an arch-type vintage Shigeto (Arco lacquered reinforced with rattan bindings used by archers of considerable experience).
This arch will be used by the master Mori, for the inauguration of our Dojo, tomorrow morning.
Birth of a new dojo in Italy for the Heki school, the NAKAZUMI KAN kyudojo, and most will be to inaugurate the Master Mori.
a good experience and acquired a great wealth of sensations that reinforce my passion for Kyudo and my confidence in the Heki Ryu.
